Well...I survived the Bucks night(s). I thought the rest would be downhill, but last night was a doozy. We went out with the intent to see Phuket's nightlife and maybe have dinner and a couple of beers...then come back to bed at midnight. Andre had other ideas. A few buckets later and things escalated quickly. I became separated from the group but thankfully was able to get back to the timeshare. I even beat the other three home.
The funniest part of the night to me was how aggressive the women were. At one point a really beautiful girl bear hugged my arm...while another bear hugged my leg. It really took quite a bit of force to get away. I was physically pulling myself and eventually had to muster quite a bit of strength to remove myself from the grasp of two Thai women grasping me like a Koala grasps a eucalyptus tree.

All told, we finally decided to go to get some food and wound up making the terrible decision to go to McDonalds (or Maccas, as the Aussies say). I go to the bathroom, come out, don't see the guys, and just start searching the street for them. It was a pretty scary feeling actually, because I didn't know the name of the resort. Finally I remembered I had a room key, and was able to summon a sangtheup driver to take me there. Another successful night in Thailand.
I'm now at the pool, getting ready to go to the first official wedding event.
